Description

Welcome to the league of legends champion spotlight featuring: Bladecraft Orianna.

No but for real this is my contest submission for Polycount's contest that ended last night.
Sooo many hours put into this thing and I learned so much. It helped me improve vastly because to date
this is the most complicated thing I've had to do in art. That's not to say it's absolutely amazing but
I am satisfied with how it turned out. This is the first real digital piece I've made other then practice
studies so my workflow improved. That is one thing I noticed jumping into the deep end so swiftly is that
I had no idea what I was really doing and how to properly go about painting this piece. In the end though
I feel it came to a great level that I felt proud of.

So here is my rendition of Bladecraft Orianna! As you can see the turret is looming ominously as it just
blasted her. However, the ball had protected Orianna with a shield which is breaking away from the
sheer force of the blast. The reason I chose to portray her this way is because in Orianna's lore
she originally died from a practice turret mishap which went haywire and blasted her with full force
instead of a light sting. So now that her father reanimated her into this Techmaturgical robot she can realize
her dream of fighting on the Fields of Justice.

Hope you like it! I'm damn sure proud of it.

Great game and also great picture! I love how you did Orianna with this shield around her. Maybe you could use darker tones for the background. I think that would be suitable for a battlefield background and the beautiful colors that you have chosen, would come to more attention. Overall I really like how you did this step by step and of course the result!
